An electrocardiogram (ECG) or EKG at rest is a fundamental tool in cardiology. It provides a picture of the heart's electrical activity while a patient is quietly resting. This baseline assessment helps to reveal any abnormalities in the heart's rhythm or conduction, which can suggest underlying medical issues. During a resting ECG, electrodes are
